Dentistry has been an amazing career choice for me because it taps into so many parts of a person.  It combines my interests in architecture, engineering, creativity, & medicine,  My desire has always been to help make someone else’s life better however I could.  Since I loved working with my hands, dentistry seemed to be the right path to tie these interests together.  From orthodontics, to smile makeovers, restoring implants and helping people maintain optimal dental health are very fulfilling aspects of this career.  

The biggest rewards, however, are the acquaintances made with our patients.  So many have become like extended family members with whom I value our relationships.

Born and raised in Dubuque, Iowa, I then attended the University of Iowa, with an emphasis on biology.  I was accepted early into the dental program at the University of Iowa and graduated in 1993.  I’ve made the Quad Cities home ever since.
